Philippe Guerin is a low key superstar, producing fantastic wines in the Loire Maritime, around the Muscadet region, offering spectacular value.
On the face of it, an easy, fresh, soft, highly drinkable decently crisp and ripe Chardonnay with classic citrus and orchard fruit. But it has real staying power for its price, taking on complexity with air contact, and showing even better after a day. Impressive.
