Jean-Michel Cazes, the owner of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac had spent many years scouring the Languedoc region in his quest for outstanding terroirs, One day he discovered La Livinière, a village at the foot of the Montagne Noire, the birthplace of the finest vineyards in the Minervois, between Carcassonne and Narbonne. The result of which is this delightfully pale and fresh rose, with a delicate touch of sweetness on the palate. This wine pairs beautifully with spicy food.
An equal blend of Grenache and Syrah, this wine is a very pale, clear and delicate pink. The highly complex and delicate noseoffers a subtle combination of rose petals and pomegranate. On thepalate, the attack is supple, light and fresh. The finish offers a pleasant touch of sweetness and lingering aromas of fresh pomegranate.
