Very deep appearance with great complexity: orange/bronze through to green at the rim. The nose is broad, savoury and a touch rustic. Savoury, with a Madeira-like cheese ball quality mixed with Spanish brandy. Broad on entry. Complex, brandy-like flavours with an underlying power. The palate shows honeycomb and toffee apples. Rich to finish.
