Britain’s answer to Italian cannoli, brandy snaps are believed to have been first made in the Middle Ages, making them one of the country’s oldest and most classic confections.

Sharp & Nickless was established in 1888 and they’ve been making Golden Brandy Snaps for most of their long and illustrious history. Syrup, flour, ginger and butter are cooked, baked briefly and then rolled while still hot and soft into the traditional cigar shape.
