Blessed with incredible finesse and elegance, the 2016 is certainly not shy in showing the full potential of the famed, high and stony La Crau plateau. With a gorgeous, classic bouquet of black raspberries, currants, violets, salty minerality and licorice, this is full-bodied, pure, incredibly elegant and with fine tannins that all culminate in a massive finish.
Whilst it “has the balance to drink now”, we would encourage buyers to resist the siren call of Jeb Dunnuck’s drinking window and give bottles a mere couple of years in bottle before reaping the rewards through to 2043.
