Winemakers, especially in warmer countries, have long been at the sharp end of climate and environmental change, having to adapt to rapidly changing vineyard conditions.
So it's no accident that many better producers are focused on sustainability, including organic and biodynamic production. What is also becoming clear is that the resulting wines often reach levels of quality far higher than with conventional farming, so a rare win-win situation!
Meanwhile Italy has undergone a quiet revolution to become the world leader in organic winemaking.
Join us as we travel Italy, North to South and East to West, to taste 6 great wines from leading edge producers.
Each wine will, naturally, be paired with a course of food showcasing the best of Delilah's Italian fayre.
