Grown on terraces, on small farms. The cherries are soaked and trodden (like grapes for wine) so that the sweetness of the fruit enters the bean. Then they are dried, soaked with spring water then dried again. The result is a slightly earthy, chocolate sweetness.
1-10 indicates the darkness of the roast (how long the beans are roasted for)
The number of stars indicates the natural strength and intensity of the coffee bean
